Next stands for the National Exit Exam. It is required to obtain a license and it is also given by Indian Medical Aspirants who have done their MBBS from abroad in order to have a “Dr.” tag in front of their name. It will replace the FMGE & NEET-PG exam soon. It will be conducted by National Board of Examination.
Pattern of the Test
It is expected that there should be three important parts of the question paper of NEXT Exam. Total of 540 Questions, where sixty percent will be problem solving, 30 percent being comprehension and analysis, and 10 percent being recall questions.
Important Points
There will be two exams Next 1 and Next 2
You will have to qualify Next 1 in order to give Next 2
Next 1 exam should be given after final year MBBS Exams
Next 2 exam is deemed to be practical
The score of Next - 1 exam will be valid for 2 Years
Notes
Next exam will be implemented in the year 2023. It would be more difficult than NEET PG and FMGE and will filter out inadequate candidates. The main motive is to improve the quality of doctors in India. Next Exam is implemented because of One Nation One Exam Policy of GOI.
